Ebbey the Canine Actor: Ebbey Photos About Allergies Some owners find success in using bitters, but this didn't seem to work with Ebbey. She would lick the bitters and then worsen her allergic reaction. About the only thing that worked was making her wear a large t-shirt with a big crotch strap sewn on since chewing and licking her crotch was part of her allergy symptoms. She also chewed her upper thighs and scratched her front upper legs, but the t-shirt basically covered them whenever she laid down. Scratching her head and ears was basically something you had to watch and stop.
