Some vets now say that allergies can be made worse when a younger dog's diet is frequently changed via an owner using an elimination diet. I've also read that feeding a dog the same food every day can trigger allergies. Luckily I switched Ebbey to beef and brown rice which are her staple foods now. As her symptoms gradually lessened over the months, I discovered she can also eat bison and elk. I try to give her at least one kind of fruit every day and broccoli. I also grind up a multivitamin and give it to her every other day with a Vit E, along with calcium, magnesium, Vit E and Vitamin B complex on the other days.
